Our company was established in 1960 as Nissei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., as a manufacturer of Sodium Methallyl Sulfonate, a dyeing auxiliary for acrylic fibers. After that, our portfolio has expanded steadily, adding manufacturing of sulfonic monomer, start contract manufacturing business, development of various fine chemicals as well as venturing into healthcare market to produce API (active pharmaceutical ingredients). In 2000, our company changed its name to Asahi Kasei Finechem Co., Ltd.

In addition to the field of fine chemicals, our company is active in the fields of APIs, medical materials and cosmetic materials. Based on our unique synthesis technologies, production engineering technologies, and highly sophisticated quality assurance capabilities that we have cultivated over the years, we aim to meet the unique needs of our customers and society as a whole by providing them with a stable supply of high-quality products.
